Self-confessed lifetime geek, who embarked in an adventure of making his past-time a profession.
It all started at the age of 3 with a Commodore64, where to play a game I had to write a line of code and wait for the tape to load.
At 14 I discovered the internet. My [at that time] amazingly fast 14.4kb/s modem could connect me to the world.
I believed that that was the future and I wanted to be an active part of it.
So I started messing around with Notepad (it was the only text editor at my disposal at the time), writing HTML on my brand new Win95 machine.
No CSS yet; they only invented it a few years later.
Then I shifted my attention to Flash as that was what all the cool kids were doing — ok a geek, but one has to at least try to be cool, right?
In the meantime I finished my studies and started working as a pure web designer, but kept coding in my spare time and eventually my career swerved that way.
My passion has continued over the years and, as much as it damages my cool side and magnifies my geek side, it's still as strong as it was on day one.
Away from the screen, I love spending time with my family, swimming, snowboarding, skating, and climbing.
